Sustainability
At Andes, sustainability starts with making products that are built to last. We believe the most responsible hot tub is one that performs well over time, is supported properly, and does not need to be replaced prematurely.
Built for longevity
A large part of sustainability is durability. When a product is designed and built for long-term ownership, it reduces waste, limits replacement cycles, and gives customers more value from a single purchase.
That is why we focus on quality materials, strong construction, and practical aftercare. A hot tub that lasts longer and can be maintained properly is a better outcome for both the customer and the environment.
Materials with purpose
We choose materials because they serve a real function, not because they create short-term marketing appeal. Stainless steel offers structural strength and long service life. Cedar brings natural warmth, texture, and visual character that suits the outdoor environment beautifully.
We aim to use materials in a way that makes sense across the full life of the product. That means thinking not just about how something looks on delivery day, but how it will age, perform, and be maintained over years of use.
Certified cedar
Where specified, the cedar used in our products is FSC certified by the manufacturer. FSC says its certification system is designed to support responsible forest management, and FSC-certified products allow businesses and consumers to choose wood-based materials sourced from well-managed forests and other controlled sources.
For Andes, that matters because sustainability begins with material choice. Using FSC-certified cedar supports a more considered supply chain and aligns the natural beauty of the material with responsible sourcing principles.
Repair and care
We support maintenance, servicing, and aftercare because repair is better than unnecessary replacement. Keeping a product in service for longer is one of the clearest ways to reduce environmental impact.
We also encourage proper care, water management, and responsible use so the product continues to perform as intended. Good maintenance is not only good for the customer — it also helps reduce waste and extend product life.
Practical over performative
We are not interested in sustainability as a slogan. We are interested in making sensible decisions that actually matter: better longevity, smarter material choices, responsible sourcing, and fewer unnecessary replacements.
That means building a product customers want to keep, not replace. It also means looking at the full ownership journey, from materials and product life to maintenance and support.
A responsible approach
Sustainability is not one feature. It is the result of many good decisions made consistently over time. For Andes, that means durable products, considered materials, responsible aftercare, and a long-term view of ownership.
We believe the best environmental outcome is often the simplest one: make something well, support it properly, and let it serve its purpose for many years.
